CarbonCap to the semi-finals of GAMIC Event
We are very happy to announce that CarbonCap has been selected to partecipate at the semi-finals of the GAMIC Event - Global Automotive & Mobility Innovation Challenge.
We will present our business idea on February, 26th via web, to a commettee of judges that will evaluate all the semi-finalists and decide which of them will take part in the finals.
The team will flight to Detroit on April, 9th to attend the whole-week event that will take place there, together with all the other semi-finalists. The week will end with the finals, that will see 12 start-ups to compete for the prizes available, that amount to 300'000$.
The Global Automotive & Mobility Challenge, or GAMIC, was created to identify innovative early-stage automotive products / systems and mobility companies; cultivate new technologies and solutions; and hasten their adoption into the automotive industry.
For the participants, the benefits of GAMIC include mentoring, visibility, acceleration and, for many, proven success. Each year, GAMIC provides over $300,000 of in-kind commercialization services and cash awards to its award winners. GAMIC award winners and finalists have gone on to reach licensing, strategic partnership or research agreements; execute business awards and enter production; and, in several cases, raise millions in investment capital.
For our many partners – who act as speakers, judges, coaches, in-kind award and cash sponsors – GAMIC has provided early access to key technologies; introductions to fellow innovation seekers, and visibility as part of the fast-moving mobility solutions community.
Judged by automotive executives from OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers as well as seasoned contributors from the entrepreneurial community, GAMIC is a unique competition.
